Course Overview

Our CNA program prepares students for the Illinois CNA certification exam. The course includes classroom instruction and clinical training covering patient care, vital signs, infection control, nutrition, body mechanics, personal care skills, communication, and patient rights. Graduates are eligible to take the state competency exam.

Prerequisites

New Students

Must be at least 16 years old. High school diploma or GED required. Must pass a background check. Must be able to perform physical tasks required of nursing assistants.

Renewal Students

N/A - This is a full certification program.
