Course Overview

The ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. This advanced course covers recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest, recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia, the ACLS Cases, and Megacode testing.

Prerequisites

New Students

Current BLS Provider certification required. Recommended to review the ACLS Provider Manual prior to class. Pre-course self-assessment must be completed.

Renewal Students

Current ACLS Provider card. Must bring current provider card and current BLS card to class.

E-Learning / Blended

HeartCode ACLS online portion available. Complete Part 1 online, then attend skills session.
